November 15th - the "point of no return" - due to the demands and responsibilities we have with the airlines and planning, once you have committed to going past this point YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST OF THE PLANE TICKET. You will receive a voucher/notice form the airline and make sure you see their restrictions. It will be good for one year.
For those that have paid the deposit but decided they cannot go - PLEASE CONTACT ME DIRECTLY, NOT THROUGH YOUR STUDENT.
January 10th - You should have at least $600 in your account here at the school (for the student and the adult going). We need that money to cover the airfare and any down payments we need to make for the trip.
2. Mrs. Winter has done an excellent job with the Holiday House scheduling. Let's pray for a great "harvest" financially.

"We never cease to be
amazed at how the steps of the righteous are ordained by God.
“The outer rain bands of
Hurricane Raymond, which was hitting the western coast of Mexico, affected our
Homecoming Celebration. On Saturday, we scheduled the Homecoming Team to
go out to minister with the Guardians of the Vision children. However, it was
raining cats and dogs around the lake, so we headed to El Congo only to find it
raining there, too. We continued on to Santa Ana only to find more rain.
In an effort to outrun the rain, we decided to give it one last try in
the city of Chalchuapa because the Last Harvest Master’s Commission leader was
from there, and we thought maybe we could find a good spot to do an outreach.
When we arrived, it was starting to sprinkle, and there were no children
outside due to the weather. Priscilla told us that we should go by her
church to see if anyone there had any ideas. To our surprise, they were holding
a children’s rally with about 150 children to celebrate the Day of the Child in
El Salvador. They asked us to do the entire program because they had food
and gifts for the children, but no program. We were the answer to their
prayers, and they were the answer to our prayers of finding a place for the
Guardians of the Vision to show the Homecoming Team what they could do.”
“As we pulled into a community called San Jose, we went door to door, inviting the
children to the soccer field where we were going to do the outreach. We
started the program with about as many adults as children, and suddenly, it
began to rain really hard. We ran for shelter, and to our surprise two
neighbors opened their home up to us. All the adults entered one home, and all
the children entered another home. We had a prayer meeting with all the
adults, and everyone came forward with various requests...While the prayer meeting was going on
with the adults, the children were in their own prayer meeting where 16
accepted Jesus as their personal Savior. We marveled at how powerful the
meetings were thanks to the rain that broke up our original meeting.”
