A New Team Begins To Assemble

We have 17 students in our 8th grade this year and Friday in bible class we covered information regarding the trip. The students were also asked to write out why they wanted to go on the trip. Here are some excerpts from their answers:

- "I want to go because I want to tell all the people about Jesus"

- Since I was in 4th grade I've been wanting to go. Every year they would go around to the classes and talk about their trip."

- "I've wanted to go since I was in first grade. I remember getting prayer cards and the teachers telling us about the trip."

- I accepted Christ into my life at the age of 7 and I want to show these kids what God can do to you when you are struggling and just need someone to love."

- "I want to go because I want to get closer to God and I've heard that it really changes you."

Students and adults have until August 30th to get their deposit and applications turned in!

Thank you

Many thanks to Southern Snowballs and everyone who purchased their treats tonight at the First Assembly July 3rd celebration! Proceeds helped is raise money for the trip!

It's Official

The dates have been set for El Salvador 2014: March 13-19, 2014. Cost $1200. The time to get your passport and start raising money is now! The time to start praying - yesterday! Let's pray to have a great trip!

The Day After

Hope everyone is doing well and is able to get some rest after the trip. Here are some of the stats that were given to us at the celebration a couple nights ago:

- 1268 people reached with the gospel
- 9 services
- 108 accepted Christ!
- 161 prayed with regarding requests for healing, family abuse, etc.

What's next:

April 2 - at 8:30 report back to elementary classroom to report on the trip; middle school chapel

April 3 - Elementary chapel at 8:45 am

April 12 - Missions Night for family and friends at 7:00, Colonial Chapel. Anyone is welcome to attend.

"Farewell Fiesta"

The King's Castle and Masters Commission staff put on a great farewell complete with testimonies, certificates, highlight video and prayer time. They are an excellent group of people and they were perfect for this first FMCS team in El Salvador. They told us we reached over 1000 people this week in our services with over 100 children accepting Christ!

Best Ending

I counted at least 80 children and adults - our largest turnout on our last night. We are thankful for God's hand on all the services and for every seed planted! King's Castle leadership team has been magnificent!

Tomorrow is a fun day before we return Wednesday night. We will be going to the market and the beach.

Great Ministry to Finish Sunday

Great time of ministry in area started led by a woman who was once invited to a street ministry service by a group years ago that came from the states.
